Available Benefits
- PAID TIME OFF
is available to employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week. After six months, earned Paid Time Off may be used. Paid Time Off consists of Vacation, Holiday, and Sick time.
- HEALTH INSURANCE
is available after three (3) months of employment to employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week. Coverage may be elected for families. The medical plan gives you the choice of utilizing Network Providers paid at the preferred rate or choosing Non-Network Providers paid at a lower rate of coverage.
- DENTAL INSURANCE
is available after three (3) months of employment to employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week and have enrolled in the health insurance plan. Coverage may be elected for families.
- FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS
are available after three (3) months of employment to employees who regularly work at are available after three (3) months of employment to employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week. This benefit offers you the opportunity to pay for dependent care and/or non-reimbursed health care expenses with pre-tax dollars.
- VISION INSURANCE
is available after three (3) months of employment to employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week and have enrolled in the health insurance plan. Coverage may be elected for families.
- LIFE INSURANCE
Employees enrolled in the health insurance plan will be automatically enrolled at no cost. The benefit amount is $15,000 for Accidental Death and Dismemberment, and Life benefits. Your coverage is effective the first of the month following 3 months of employment.
- PERSONAL INSURANCE
is available after three (3) months of employment to employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week and is 100% employee paid. We work with a broker who offers our staff competitive rates on auto, home, and renter's insurance.
- SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE
such as disability or accident insurance, is available after three (3) months of employment to employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week and is 100% employee paid.
- PENSION (401k)
is offered during open enrollment to employees between the ages of 21 and 70 after completion of at least one year of service and have worked at least 1000 hours per calendar year. The Corporation contributes to your self-directed 401(k). You are fully vested after 5 years of employment. The plan year is January 1 to December 31.
- EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION TO 401k
At the same time as your eligibility for the pension, you may defer a portion of your income for retirement and receive current income tax savings. Eligible employees will be 100% vested immediately.
- EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
provides short-term, confidential counseling, as well as assistance for you and your family at no expense to you.
- OLGA STROMSET SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Corporation was the recipient of an endowment gift, the interest from which was designated to be used to help employees to advance their career opportunities through additional education. See program guidelines for more details.
- TWELVE (12) PAID HOURS OF CNA CEU
Approximately once a month in-service training is offered on a variety of topics which can be used for Continuing Education Units.
- FAMILY MEDICAL LEAVE
is unpaid leave available to employees who have at least one year of service and have worked at least 1250 hours in the previous year. FMLA allows a maximum of 12 weeks of time off for you or your immediate family member's serious health condition or the birth or adoption of a child. Medical certification may be required prior to approval of a leave of absence.
- PAID BEREAVEMENT
is available after six (6) months of employment to employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week. Allows up to 24 hours of leave after the death of your spouse, child, parent, or sibling; your spouse's child, parent, or sibling; your child's spouse; grandparents or grandchildren.
- MATERNITY LEAVE
is available for up to eight (8) calendar weeks of unpaid leave after the birth of a child.
- MILITARY LEAVE
provides unpaid leave to attend scheduled drills or training or if called to active duty with the U.S. or State armed services.
- JURY DUTY
is available after six (6) months of employment to employees who regularly work at least 30 hours per week, when selected to serve on a jury. Employees will be compensated by payment of an amount equal to the difference between your jury duty pay and your regular wages.
- DIRECT DEPOSIT
is available upon employment for all employees. You may have your entire paycheck sent directly to an account at any financial institution that is part of the Federal Banking System.
- WELLNESS PROGRAM
This program helps ourselves and each other live healthier lives while earning rewards. Employee discounts are available at some of the local health clubs.
- TRANSITIONAL DUTY
provides employees who are temporarily unable to perform normal job duties with alternative duties.
- EARNED TIME ASSISTANCE POOL
provides additional earned time hours, in the case of a hardship, from a pool of hours voluntarily donated by employees from their earned time bank.
- OUTPATIENT THERAPY
offers staff the convenience of quality therapy on premise.
- MEALS
are available at inexpensive prices to staff and visitors.
- CHRIST CARE FUND
which is administered by the chaplain, provides confidential financial assistance (up to $200 per calendar year) to employees who are experiencing a financial emergency.
