Immanuel Lecture Series: Flathead Valley–A Look Back

Join us as we travel back in time for a look at Flathead Valley’s past to the present.

Newly appointed executive director of The Museum at Central School, Jacob Thomas will be the guest speaker at the August lecture.

Thomas is no stranger to Northwest Montana, having spent three years working at the Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park in college. Since graduating, Thomas has worked at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, the Stark Museum of Art in Orange, Texas and, most recently, he served as the curator at the Charlevoix Historical Society in Charlevoix, Michigan.

Thomas grew up in the Detroit-area and became interested in history as a child. He earned a degree in public history from Western Michigan University and later a graduate degree in museum studies from Appalachian State University in North Carolina.
