The Immanuel Lecture Series: Strength & Balance-Candy VanFrachen, LMT, PTA
Candy VanFrachen, Licensed Massage Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistant, has worked with Immanuel Lutheran Communities for 19 years. She started as a CNA and rehabilitation aide and now works with the Physical Therapy department providing massages and other services. In addition to her other credentials, she is a Dr. Vodder-certified Lymphedema Therapist and a trainer for Stepping On, a program that provides balance training for older adults. In the latter role, she has been co-leader of two seven-week courses at Buffalo Hill Terrace. In this lecture, Candy will discuss and demonstrate some techniques that older adults can use to maintain and develop their strength and balance.
Join us on the third Friday of each month when we host a variety of stimulating speakers on a range of topics. Immanuel Lutheran Communities is pleased to offer this series as a means of sharing the Abundant Life Program to not only of the residents of our community, but to our neighbors throughout the Flathead Valley.
