Planning Your Financial Health

This month, three community experts will join us for a session planning your financial health as you and your loved ones age.  We’ll hear from an attorney, a care planner, and a representative from a local service that provides in-home care.

Brian C. Tanko, Esq. has spent more than 20 years practicing law in Montana and Nevada. He prides himself providing personalized service in order to help his clients protect their most important assets through careful planning. In addition to being an attorney, Brian has a BSBA in accounting and a CPA certificate and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He uses these additional skills to provide comprehensive representation for his clients.

Jennifer Crowley, R.N., founder of Eagleview West, is a long-term care planning expert who works with private clients, insurance companies, and government entities to help both recipients and providers of long-term care achieve positive outcomes.  She has 22 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and holds, among other credentials, a certificate in Life Care Planning and the status of Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant.   Eagleview West’s service for seniors includes assistance with transitions due to health, long-term care planning, and elder care management.

Barbara Hinkley, R.N., MSA is the Director of Home Options, the in-home care service affiliated with Kalispell Regional Medical Center.  She has considerable experience in hospice care and will speak about hospice and other in-home care opportunities.  She will also discuss advance directives and other ways of making sure that your loved ones know your wishes in the event that your health deteriorates to the point where you can no longer make your own decisions.
