Sharon Randolph, author of the four volume series “Connecting Us to the Sun.” will be the featured guest speaker at Buffalo Hill Terrace. Her story is included in “A View Inside Glacier National Park 100 Years, 100 Stories.” Prior to moving to West Glacier in 1991, and north of Polebridge in 1996, Sharon had been traveling to Glacier National Park from Minnesota since 1958. The research and writing of the series took her on a 17 year journey.
Sharon has also taught the twelve hour FVCC class “Glacier National Park: Transcending Time” through the Senior Institute since 2010. “Glacier National Park: Embracing the Unknown by Foot, Horse, Rail, and Auto” and “Wild Stories of Early Travellers Journeying to Glacier and Waterton” are among her most popular presentations. Tales from the Great Northern Railway’s history are also among her many stories.
